Pornea is an art-project porn video  that has narry a hairy body in sight (so far much like a mainstream porn, i’d say).  But the catch is there actually isn’t a body in sight.

The website hints that using computer-generated porn might get us around the censorship that plagues run-of-the-mill body-based (or text-based) porn.  A hopeful thought but it often seems our fear of technology encourages heated outrage and censorship.  I’m thinking about how the uncertain future in social networking has a pre-occupation with teenaged girl’s sexuality and how the web is often used as a renegade sex-offender database.

But the most important question for today is : Does Pornea get you off, Jess???

I did get a pleasurable tingle while watching the foreskin go back and forth and back again.  I looked forward to the asses. But then the whole video just sort of carried on for 10 minutes and I just sort of got distracted.  My reaction seems to be the predominant response to the poll on xvideos.  The use of words like deeply symbolic and mystical experience to describe the video also helped to drain the squishiness from my seat. Are we just not ready to switch how (actors, props and process) porn get us off quite just yet?

Well maybe, but I’m hedging my bets on there being too much techno-fiddle without any build-up and mental stimulation in this lengthy video.
